Woven backcoating & drying lines
We offer coating and drying solutions to handle the production of woven carpet from low to the highest capacities and from 1 to 5.5 metre widths. The highest capacity lines are configured to suit the specific product requirements and incorporate such features as:
- Accurately controlled tension
- Pivoted guiding units throughout
- Large back and face cleaning units for lint removal
- Vertical and/or chest steamers, allowing controlled back and face steaming for maximum product benefit
- Multiple applicators with latex circulation system and full control adjustments to ensure latex penetration to anchor pile yarns
- Recirculating dryer sections, with impingement nozzles and accurate temperature control, gas or steam heated
- Large diameter steam drum for final drying and finishing to maximise carpet layflat and pile properties
- Cooling section with impingement nozzles for maximum cooling in hot climates
- PLC control with production data collection
Throughflow woven backcoating line
For lower production and start-ups, we present the ‘Throughflow’ backcoating line which is designed specifically to minimise investment for entry into the market. This offers:
- Compact processing, requiring minimum floor space
- Incorporates all the key elements for finishing
- Cleaning and brushing
- Back steaming with extraction canopy and fan
- Lick roll applicator, with adjustable settings
- Large diameter steam heated drum for efficient drying and carpet layflat properties
- Large diameter steam drum for final drying and finishing to maximise carpet layflat and pile properties
- Precision tension control via inverter drives and transducers
- Suitable for subsequent extension as factory output increases
